Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome our new pastor Don Ferris-McCann for his first Sunday as pastor at Bruen Chapel UMC. As SPRC chair Rob Higginbotham said during the service, we are so blessed to have him and his wife Dr. Lisa Ferris-McCann among us as we serve the Lord in our community and our world. We look forward to being in ministry together.

To help him hit the ground running, please take a moment to provide your up-to-date contact information on the forms at the front of the church, so Don can input it into his phone. Because Dr. Don is balancing the courses he teaches at Northern Virginia Community College and immediate needs of the congregation, please note that his office hours will be by appointment.

Lastly, to get to know Don, he invites us all to submit a question for him–personal, theological, it’s all fair game!–over the next couple weeks.
