Back to School season is back in full force at our local stores, and parents of school-aged kids are getting ready for a new year. As with any new season of life or grade in school, there can be a mix of apprehension and excitement. God is with us through every transition and wants us to grow in our understanding, regardless of how old we are!

On August 25th, we will acknowledge that learning should be a focal point for Christians at any age and offer our children and youth a special blessing to get the school year started off right.  Students are welcome to bring their backpacks for a blessing if they would like (whether they are in elementary, middle, or high school).

We are so blessed to have several teachers in our congregation and will recognize and pray over them as well.
