Today is Pentecost, the last Sunday of the Easter Season. We celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit in power not only long ago, but in our midst now working for the good in us to help us transform the world through our service.
The fact that people from many places heard about God in their own language on the first Pentecost was not an accident: God wants to reach everyone–regardless of their national origin, skin color, native language, or background. He still does. God doesn’t care who you are or where you’re from. He wants His followers to treat all with love and respect.
