We are so blessed to have people of all ages in our congregation, but we are excited to acknowledge the contributions of our older adults this coming Sunday. You enrich our congregation, our community, and our lives!
While there may be more aches and pains as we age, God created the whole of creation, with the aging process as part of each life form. And God saw that it was good. God’s unconditional love is a part of the whole of life, from birth to death. The church, as Christ’s body in the world, is God’s hands and feet, to bring about justice for all–regardless of age or society’s views on usefulness or worthiness. There is a place for everyone in Christ’s church. Thank you to the older adults among us at Bruen Chapel for what you teach us all about faith, life, humor, life, and love.
