Bruen Chapel will commemorate All Saints Day on November 7th. Methodists mark this as a day of remembrance for the saints that have gone on before us, including all Christian people of every time and place and people beloved to our congregation who have died. It can be a time to grieve, remember, and be inspired by the example of our mothers and fathers in the faith.

The pandemic and the 700,000 lives cut short in our country alone may make us might feel a sense of loss more acutely. We want this to be a special service. Please email Pastor Betsy the names of any loved ones you would like for us to acknowledge during the All Saints Day service who have died within the past two years.

We will light candles, read the names, ring a bell, and celebrate communion to recall the communion of saints from the church universal and ones we love.

We bless your holy name, O God,
for all your servants who, having finished their course,
now rest from their labors.

Give us grace to follow the example
of their steadfastness and faithfulness,
to your honor and glory;
through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amen.
