The General Conference of the United Methodist Church will be meeting in May. This is the only body who can speak for the denomination as a whole and one of the main issues will be our perception of LGBT+ Issues and how we relate to them as a Church. This is not a new conversation, but it seems to be coming to a critical point. I am inviting the members and friends of Bruen Chapel to gather following Worship on Sunday, February 2, for an opportunity to listen to each other about this important issue. No votes will be taken. At this time, listening to each other is what is necessary and appropriate. I hope you accept this invitation and attend this time set apart to hear each other ideas, opinion, concerns, and prayers.
